Transforming decision-making processes through aerial data intelligence.
To serve and protect frontline forces by providing world-class aerial intelligence.
To lead the way in aerial intelligence for frontline forces, consistently pushing the boundaries of technology to deliver innovative, reliable, and high-quality solutions.
Quantum Systems Australia specializes in developing, designing, and producing fully autonomous uncrewed aerial systems (UAS) that empower our partners to safeguard their interests. We offer a range of electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) UAS that are engineered to offer the best-in-class endurance, reliability, and uncompromised intelligence, while maximizing range and versatility to ensure a seamless user experience. By integrating advanced software capabilities, such as edge computing and real-time AI-powered data processing, we deliver a portfolio of next-generation UAS for various applications, including security, defence, and public safety operations worldwide.
Our Brisbane-based team serves to collaborate with regional and global customers to solve their defence and security challenges with the acceleration of autonomous systems technology and to promote operational readiness. Quantum Systems Australia’s investment in research and development, creating high-tech jobs, and supporting supply chains – all local to Australia – contributes to the nation’s robust, resilient and globally-competitive defence industry.
Since Quantum Systems’ founding in 2015 by Florian Seibel in Gilching, Germany several years after registering the patent for a vertically launchable unmanned transition aircraft, Quantum Systems has expanded its operations across Europe, the United States, and Asia-Pacific. The company’s output and number of employees have continuously grown as well with triple-digit percentage growth year over year.

Our eVTOL fixed-wing sUAS combines the handling of a multi-rotor drone and the efficient aerodynamics of an airplane into one system.
“Tilt rotor transition aircraft” is what we call this innovative and patented category of drones. After a vertical take-off and reaching the desired transition altitude, the drone has a short phase of acceleration. During this transition phase, the rotors – driven by electric motors – swivel from the vertical take-off position to a horizontal flight position. The patent for this innovative swivel mechanism and the unique transition technology was granted in 2012.
No runway, catapult, parachute or extra equipment is needed for take-off or landing. The sUAS land smoothly on their shock absorbing landing gear that reduce impact, resulting in an extended product lifespan.
