Trinity F90+ UAV is C3 certified

As of October 25th, 2022 Trinity F90+ has received the EASA C3 certification, for the EU drone class with a take-off weight of over 4 kg. Trinity F90+ is prepared for continuous market fit way ahead schedule, as the C3 certification is required in the EU member states only for UAVs purchased from January 1st, 2024. The certification acknowledges Quantum-System’s commitment for supplying cutting edge technology, while being fully compliant with the complex regulatory framework for UAVs.

All Trinity F90+ users will be eligible to upgrade their systems for C3 compliance. The upgrade is fully voluntary, as UAVs sold before January 1st, 2024, will still be able to legally operate in the A3 category in Europe.

Ensuring compliance with the requirements of the C3 class, Quantum-Systems worked together with Spanish Alter Technology Group (TÜV Nord) to receive the class C3 label for Trinity F90+. Part of the TÜV Nord Group, Alter Technology Group, is the accredited notified body of the EASA for drone classification and CE declarations.
