European Parliament Sends Fact-Finding Mission to Quantum Systems Ukraine

With Geopolitical Tensions at an All-Time High, EU Reaffirms Commitment to Production Ramp-Up

Kyiv, February 25^th, 2025 – During a high-ranking delegation visit to Quantum Systems Ukraine, representatives of the European Parliament have shown themselves impressed by the drone manufacturer’s expansion in Ukraine, hailing its efforts as exemplary for defence companies in the European Union.

The delegation, including Pina Picierno, MEP (S&D, Vice President of the European Parliament), Thomas Carlin, MEP (France, S&D ), Tobias Cremer, MEP (Germany, S&D), Raphael Glucksmann, MEP (France, S&D) and Rainer van Lanschot, MEP (Netherlands, Greens) visited Quantum Systems Ukraine one day after the third anniversary of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine by Russia.

During the visit, Olexandr Berezhny, Managing Director of Quantum Systems Ukraine, briefed the delegation on the company’s growth from a small team of engineers after the invasion, to a multi-facility company with full size production, over 100 local employees and the initiative to double local production capacity.

Considering a possible degradation of support by key NATO states, the MEPs reaffirmed their ambition to make available frozen Russian assets to support the fast ramp-up of local production in Ukraine and in the European Union.
