Quantum Systems: Top 10 at Ukraine Recovery Conference 2024

Quantum Systems honored as a Top 10 company at the Ukraine Recovery Conference 2024

Berlin, Germany – June 11, 2024 – Quantum Systems has been recognized as one of ten international companies honored as a Flagship Project of International Business in Ukraine at the Ukraine Recovery Conference (URC) 2024. The award will be presented by Federal Minister for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection, Robert Habeck, alongside his counterpart, Yuliia Svyrydenko, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy. Quantum Systems is one of only three German companies to receive this honor at this year’s URC, which will be attended by German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and President Volodymyr Selenskyj.

As part of the Ukraine Recovery Conference 2024, Germany and Ukraine have initiated the “Flagship Projects of International Business in Ukraine” program. This initiative aims to highlight exemplary economic engagements in Ukraine and to encourage further investment. Quantum Systems has been positioned as the German defense company of URC 2024 with its unique local commitment. Since the start of the war, the European drone pioneer has been active in Ukraine with its Vector reconnaissance drones. By the end of the year, 500 systems will have been delivered to Ukraine, with a further 800 additional Vector reconnaissance drones requested for 2025.

Under the motto “Deliver, Support, Integrate,” Quantum Systems has expanded its presence with two locations in Ukraine. In 2023, the company opened a Service, Support, Training & Logistics Center (SSTLC) in Ukraine, which includes a repair workshop, an R&D hub, and a training facility. In April 2024, Vice Chancellor and Federal Minister Habeck, together with the Minister for Strategic Industries, Oleksandr Kamyshin, inaugurated a factory in Ukraine where 100 Ukrainian employees will manufacture up to 1,000 drones per year.

Quantum Systems is currently focused on supporting Ukraine in its defense against Russia. As a dual-use company, it is also prepared for future needs. Quantum Systems’ drones can be rapidly and easily deployed for civilian reconstruction tasks, including battle damage assessment, environmental damage assessment, surveying, and agricultural purposes.

We have stood by Ukraine's side since the beginning of the invasion. True to
the conference motto “United in defense. United in recovery.", our drones
are making their contribution to the defense of Ukraine today. Beyond
the war, they will contribute to the reconstruction
and well-being of Ukraine.

As the Ukrainian Managing Director of a German company in my home country, I am
proud to receive a special honor for Quantum Systems at URC24. We will continue to
make our contribution to the defense of Ukraine and look forward to the close and
long-term cooperation between our two countries.
