Vector™

Mid-Range eVTOL UAS

01

The Ultimate 2-in-1 ISR System

The combat-proven Vector is a silent, mid-endurance electric VTOL fixed-wing sUAS that delivers real-time, high-resolution downlink imagery to operators performing mid-range reconnaissance missions. Its open systems architecture allows for continuous expansion of the system's capabilities and functionality. The Quantum-Skynode flight control computer is at the heart of the Vector, equipping it with onboard computing power and AI capabilities to reduce the cognitive load of the operator.

Vector is part of a 2-in-1 system that uses the same main fuselage, ground controller, data link, sensors, and AI capabilities. It can alternatively be configured as the Scorpion multicopter without any changes to the avionics hardware, UI or workflow.

Key Features

Outstanding Performance

Vector features an intelligent cruise speed ranging from 15 to 20 meters per second and offers a 180-minute flight duration with our dependable Smart Battery packs. Mission control is intuitive via the Skynav Ground Controller or rugged laptop, facilitating seamless operations. It supports video streaming over encrypted Mesh IP data links spanning up to 40 kilometers (standard configuration), ensuring secure communications. Built to withstand rigorous conditions, it utilizes durable, high-quality glass-fiber reinforced materials and holds an IP54 rating. Operating under harsh environments is made possible by self-heating batteries and an advanced cooling system for data links and electronics, ensuring reliable performance in challenging scenarios.

Growing Capabilities

The Vector platform incorporates an optical flow sensor for precise take-off and landing operations. Its open systems architecture supports continuous capability expansion, adapting to evolving needs of the battlefield effortlessly. Upgraded ECSs and motors result in increased reliability and operational efficiency. Equipped with robust onboard computing power and advanced computer vision processing capabilities, it integrates state-of-the-art AI and advanced networked communications to enhance operational efficiency and situational awareness. Targeting can be achieved with the appropriate interface integration from Telepan software and NATO Standard Encryption.

Ease of Operation

Weighing less than 8.2 kg, Vector is rucksack portable, can be assembled by one person and mission-ready within three minutes with no tools or equipment needed. Its modular setup facilitates swift, cost-effective maintenance and repairs, allowing individual parts to be disassembled and exchanged efficiently, ensuring operational continuity and reliability. Autonomous missions are executed seamlessly with QBase Tactical software, providing dependable autopilot decisions that reduce cognitive load on the operators while keeping them well-informed.

Vector™ Sensors

Vector is currently available with two integrated gimbaled sensors: the HD40-LV and the Raptor. The sensors can be exchanged easily in a matter of seconds via a quick-lock mechanism. No tools are required.

Sensor Overview

Artificial Intelligence at the Tactical Edge

NVIDIA Jetson Orin AI Board

Using on-board artificial intelligence, the system is increasingly capable of supporting decision-making processes in an efficient and user-friendly manner. The Raptor gimbaled sensor performs object detection, classification, and tracking. The operator only receives relevant information in the form of messages or warnings. Constant monitoring of the live video is not necessary. The AI board also supports and enables GNSS-denied navigation.

Mission Control Software

Vector is operated using QBase Tactical, designed to meet ISR mission requirements with real-time reconnaissance and post-mission analysis. It supports QuickStart missions, intuitive control of the aircraft and sensor, clicks on the map and in-flight mission updates.
